Castles Technology and PayTipper launch new solution accepting PagoBANCOMAT

Castles Technology Europe and PayTipper were present at Venditalia 2016, at the Castles Technology booth (Hall 4, booth C09) and presented an innovative solution to accept PagoBANCOMAT payments in vending machines.

Castles Technology, a manufacturer and supplier of payment devices and complete solutions, and PayTipper, payment institution and supplier of acquiring services, are the first companies in Italy to launch a fully integrated solution: the MARS1000 UPT, acquiring service for PagoBANCOMAT and international card schemes, and terminal management services, all in one contract. Customers will have a single point of contact with a simple, fast and clear contract. A 3-year warranty and a quick assistance will be provided among the services to the operator. An effective telemetry application is also available to optimize the vending machines centralized management and to efficiently and effectively plan on-site interventions.

Among the several point of strengths of the solution, it is important to underline that PagoBANCOMAT payments acceptance allows the operator to save costs and provides the consumers with a larger usability.

“We are the first payment institution in Italy to offer only one contract and to use PagoBANCOMAT, the national payment circuit, of the BANCOMAT® consortium, in the vending machines industry” said Angelo Grampa, CEO of PayTipper. “In Italy, 90% of the cards uses the PagoBANCOMAT payment scheme: our new solution will allow much more people to make payments on vending machines very easily. One of the strengths of Mars1000 is that it can simply be adapted to new data transmission needs”.

Filippo Scibilia, CEO of Castles Technology Europe, stated: “With the Unattended terminal MARS1000 and its VMI intelligent board it is easy to get a full integration with the vending machine. With a single compact terminal and the VMI module, the communication between the vending machine and the terminal is plug and play. In this way, the vending machine becomes a technologically advanced tool in accordance with the new regulations. Our MARS1000 terminal will be available also in a touch screen version and it can accept contactless, magnetic strip and chip cards, with and without PIN insertion, all in one device.”

PayTipper S.p.A. is a payment institution authorized by the Bank of Italy (in accordance with art. 1 (b) of the Legislative Decree No. 11 of January 27, 2010) that provides innovative, safe and highly customized payment services and solutions to meet the needs of individuals, enterprises, networks and institutions.
