Castles Technology Co., Ltd a leading payment solution provider, today announced that Filippo Scibilia has been appointed as CEO of Castles Technology Europe S.r.l. Filippo brings over 30 years of rich experience in leadership and a deep understanding of increasing sales in the payment and electronic industries. In his new role, Filippo will be responsible for spearheading overall operations and sales strategies to help achieve the company’s European business objectives.

Filippo joins Castles from FlagPay S.r.l. which he founded in 2011 and also was the commercial director for PayTipper S.p.A. Prior to that Filippo was the regional sales director for Hypercom (2008-2011) and regional sales director for Intellect NV (2006-2007). In 2005, Filippo worked as the Group General Manager for DA Sistemi Group S.p.A for Italy, Germany and Netherlands. Filippo is also credited with being the Founder, CEO and sales director of the Qarana Solutions S.p.A (Halogen group) in Italy and part of management team of Spain and Sweden (2000-2004). Filippo spent his early career as a Business Unit Director, Technology Practice Manager and Sales Manager at Hewlett-Packard Italiana for nearly 14 years (1986-2000).
